USSF “A” License and NSCAA Goalkeeping Level I License Holder - In his ninth year at Satellite High School as a head coach, Fidgi has compiled an impressive record of 231-18-7 (4th All Time winningest girl’s high school soccer coach in the nation by victories by NSCAA and Adidas), two State Champions 2002 and 2003, two State Runner-ups1997 and 2004, five Final Four appearances, eight Districts titles, nine Conference titles, five Conference Coach of the Year awards, three Florida Today Coach of the year awards and one State Coach-of-the-Year award 2003-04 . The National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Addidas ranked the Satellite Girls as one of the top ten High School Soccer team in America (4th) in 2002 and (8th) in 2003 and ( 6th) in 2004. Fidgi is a USSF “A” license and a NSCAA Goalkeeping license holder.
Fidgi also coached the U18, U17 and U16 Girls INDIALANTIC FORCE. In his 7th year at Indialantic Fidgi compiled four State Championships in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005; two State Runner Up in 2000 and 2004.
In February Fidgi was named the 2005 US Youth Soccer and Adidas National Coach of the Year at a banquet hosted in Houston, Texas. In 2005 Fidgi also received the State and Region III Coach of the Year awards. Fidgi has been a FYSA (ODP) coaching Staff for seven years. He is the current head coach for the 89 ODP Boys.
Fidgi Haig completed his first 2005 season as the head coach at Florida Tech with a 7-7-2 overall record, taking the Panthers to it's best finish since the Women’s soccer program started. Fidgi also placed a record of five players in the All Sunshine State Conference team. At the end of the season Fidgi was named the 2005 Central Florida Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (CFISSO) Coach of the Year. As a former Florida Tech student-athlete, Fidgi was a forward for the Panthers in 1988 when Tech captured the first of its two NCAA Division II National Championships. He graduated from Florida Tech in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration.
